HI! So I just discovered your blog along with a few other healthy blogs and I'm new to this whole 'getting healthy' thing. I just wanted to say that I LOVE your blog and I was wondering if you had any advice for someone just starting off on being healthier and losing weight. Oh! And if you knew any other amazing blogs for me to follow. Thanks! :) 1. Never forget to love yourself and be proud of every step you take. Every pound you lose, every healthy food you learn to like, and so on. You’re a fighter and you’ll reach your goals, don’t let anything or anyone make you feel otherwise. 2. No matter how many times you fail, get up and try harder. Never stop believing in your own ability to keep going. It’s hard to believe in yourself after you fail, but keep believing. Never stop! 3. Smile! Laugh at your mistakes! Very important :) Health and nutrition tips you can find pretty much everywhere on fitblrs, check my tag #tips to find plenty of them! Oh, and blogs to follow: here. And thank you so much! |

I'm thinking of starting a fitblr because of your blog. It's time for me to get it together! ANy advice before I start? Yay, that’s great! The more, the better! My advice to you is to keep it as healthy and positive as possible. Be aware that girls with eating disorders or just with really low self-esteem can visit your blog, so make sure they feel motivated to take care of themselves and be healthy. Also, be yourself and post whatever motivates and inspires you, no matter what others think. It’s your blog, after all. And if you get complaints and/or anon hate, don’t let it get to you. Some random stranger’s opinion won’t change your progress or who you are. Good look with your blog! Make sure to send me the url when you start it ;) |

how are you? Your weight hasn't changed in a while, is everything ok? loveee your blog, you're the best. xx Lisa, from Ohio Hey, Lisa! Everything’s fine! :D I’ve been so busy with college and work that all I have energy for is to eat in small portions whenever I can, so lately I’ve been maintaining my weight. Which is better than nothing. I really have to work harder for this, to count calories again and come back to gym now that the exams from my first bimester are over. |

Hii. I want to lose 20-25 pounds by the end of june. Is it realistic? What should I do? The best advice I can give you is to quit creating weight loss goals in a period of time. Even if it sounds possible. Your body won’t always do what you want, even if you work hard. It takes time, and you can’t control it. Sometimes you’ll lose more than you’re expecting and sometimes you won’t. Do what you have to do: eat healthy, control your portions, exercise, drink green tea, etc. You’ll be thinner by June, that’s for sure. But maybe it won’t be that much. Or maybe it will! Like I said, it’s not something you can control. Not 100% anyway. I have a hard time trying to reach goals. It drives me insane and I’m never satisfied. That’s why I think this is the best advice I can give you. So please, just do what you have to do and never give up. That’s what’s important! |

where are you? did you give up? :(
OMG NO! Never! I’ve been working/studying like crazy! But I didn’t give up, I’m eating the best that I can and I’m going to gym at night (which gives me less free time). And of course, I definitely won’t give up on the blog! I come here everytime I can, I promise! <3 |

I weigh 106lb and am 5ft and my BMI is healthy, but because I am so short it makes me look really large so I would like to lose a couple of inches off my body, the only problem is I have bulimia so it is impossible for me to have a healthy diet, do you have any tips for me? It’s not impossible to have a healthy diet and surely not impossible to take care of an eating disorder like bulimia. Get some help. If you think you can’t do it alone, talk to someone you’re close to about it and make your way out of it. Many people did it, and so can you! Don’t accept the fact that you have bulimia and try to make things right with it. It won’t work. You have the chance of doing amazing things for yourself if you realize that bulimia is only welcome to get the hell out of your life! It’s definitely not good for you or for your body. Be strong and do the right thing, anon! It may be tough, but you won’t regret! ;) |

This is a stupid question, but I can't find the answer anywhere. How is it that I can binge for 2 days straight and not gain a pound? I'm worried that when I go back to eating healthy, that's when the weight from those crappy days will be put on. Our bodies can do crazy things, with no explanation. But what I can tell you from personal experience is that when you eat less calories than you used to and then suddenly gives in to binging for a day or two, you’re just eating the amount of calories that your body is still used to, so you obviously don’t gain weight. It’s proved by science that your body doesn’t take calories day by day, but the calorie intake in a number of days… Like a week. So as long as you eat well for most of the days of the week, you’ll be fine on your journey! ;) |
